The production engineering team is responsible for developing and improving production processes.
The processes themselves are used for low volume, batch production and involve a wide range of techniques for assembling metallic, plastic and polymeric components.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production Engineer to join a market leading, local company and become a leading figure in a team of highly skilled production and materials engineers.
The production engineering team is responsible for developing and improving production processes.
The processes themselves are used for low volume, batch production and involve a wide range of te! chniques for assembling metallic, plastic and polymeric compon! ents using adhesively bonded or mechanical joints.
As a Production Team Leader you would be expected to combine a range of skills and experiences from both the ‘hands on’ aspects of Production Engineering as well as a proven track record managing a team and overseeing the development of both staff and processes.
Candidates should be educated to degree standard or equivalent in an engineering discipline and possess at least 5 years industrial experience.
As well as a sound understanding of various machining, moulding and joining techniques, you would be expected to have excellent project management and production planning skills.
A self motivated attitude and an enthusiasm for developing and implementing improved processes and techniques is also essential.
Your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to: Adapting existing production processes to new products; Developing and commissioning new production proces! ses; Creating and maintaining process documentation and monitoring process cost, wastage and capability; Designing and commissioning tooling and equipment.
Based in Kidderminster, commutable from Worcester, Birmingham, Halesowen, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Droitwich, Malvern, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, Evesham and Pershore.
Salary £32-38,000, commensurate with experience.
Start: ASAP
Rate: £32000 - £38000 per annum
