An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic qualified district nurse to join our innovative and busy nursing team covering Church Street Surgery, Kidderminster.
You will manage a caseload under the supervision of a team leader, but will be expected to undertake leadership responsibilities within the team in her absence. The teams in Wyre Forest work on a cluster basis, and the teams are reliant on mutual support, and therefore there will be the expectation to travel across the patch when necessary.
We require a senior nurse with a variety of highly developed clinical skills, as well as excellent communication ski! lls and with demonstrable leadership experience. The successfu! l candidate will be able to work autonomously and collaboratively with the wider Primary Health Care Team.
The successful candidate must have the flexibility to undertake a range of shifts between 7.30 am and 7:30pm, and work regular weekends.
It is essential you can fulfil the travel requirements of the post.

The Trust offers a preceptorship year for newly qualified nurses and AHP's and attendance at preceptorship programmes is a condition of employment. Please note that all newly qualified Nurses will be required to successfully undertake a drug calculations test as part of this programme.
