Assistant Laboratory Manager (Metal)
Salary: up to £28,000
Locatio! n: Wolverhampton (Commutable from Netherton, Kidderminster, West Bromwich, Walsall Birmingham Stourbridge)
The Role
Applications are sought from Assistant Laboratory Managers (Metal) who posses
0 Strong Materials / Metallurgy background / qualification
0 Proven experience of managing teams and achieving targets in a testing environment.
0 Knowledge / Experience within an accredited laboratory environment (ISO 17025 preferred)
0 Interaction with accreditation body (UKAS) / surveillance visits
0 Management of workload / KPI's and improvement actions
0 Working knowledge of National / International material and testing standards
0 Good communication skills (customer and internal)
0 Management of third party inspection body visits (Lloyds, DNV etc)
0 Internal Auditing qualification would be beneficial but not essential
0 Full clean driving licence.
0 Testing experience in other Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical metho! ds would be beneficial but not essential

In addition you must have great people skills and be comfortable communicating at all levels.
