Design Draughtsman AutoCAD / Electrical / Mechanical - Dudley, West Midlands. An opportunity has arisen to ! join a large, global organisation as part of their highly-skilled design team. The company is a market leading supplier of process automation services and technologies and they require a talented design draughtsman to create mechanical / electrical designs.

Typical designs are PLC based with ancillary electrical equipment, mounted and wired into an enclosure. In order to be successful in this position you must have solid, commercial experience working in an electrical / mechanical design role, you will be fully conversant with AutoCAD V12 and will have a background working within process control and instrumentation.

Any experience with Saudi Aramco Procedures and specifications would be highly advantageous, as would knowledge of EN61082.

To help achieve strategic growth initiatives set, we are looking for a commercially focused, Formulation & Development Chemist to take responsibility for product transfer and development of our range of Pressure Sensitive Adhesives within Europe.

This is a technical specialist (based from UK manufacturing site circa. 90% of time) and customer facing role with visits to customer sites across Europe (circa 10% of time), supporting the technical sales and NPD team in the:

  • Complete formulation and re-formulation of new and existing products to meet European customer requirements
  • Product evaluation, formulation development & sample preparation
  • Re-formulation of existing products for performance or cost benefits
  • Assessment of new raw material suitability
  • Complete stability/compatibility testing in line with European legislation
  • Management of ! on-site customer trials
  • Investigating and resolution of customer complaints
  • Provide technical expertise to the European Business and Sales teams
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and raw material suppliers
PERSON REQUIREMENTS: Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSA)

  • MSc or BSc in a chemistry related field. Polymerisation and formulating background/experience in the adhesive industry would be advantageous.
  • Ideally have experience specifically within the field of Pressure Sensitive Adhesives. Alternatively, you could have gained working experience of Sealants, Synthetic Polymers, waterbased or solvent based adhesives, Hotmelts, Heat Seal or Cold Seal
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • A second language is very desirable, ideally German but is not a pre-requisite
  • Experience in writing and mai! ntaining technical literature and product line training materials
  • !
  • Experience with SAP would be an advantage

A children's home in Kidde! rminster are urgently requiring a female support worker, due to the requirements within the home, to join their team. It is Essential that you are a driver with your own transport.

You will need to demonstrate a passion for working with young people who have challenging behaviour.

The Role

You will be responsible for;

  • The day a to day care and support of the young people living within the home.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care
  • Taking children/Young people out on Activities and trips
  • Taking children/young people to contact visits

  • Dealing with challenging behaviour
You will work full time over a varied shift pattern, but will always have 2 days off together. Every 3 weeks you will have 4 days off. There is a requirement to do sleep-ins which are normally 6/7 per month.
