This job, a brilliant new role for a leading event management agency based in the Midlands is for a Head of Proposals who will report into the Business Development Director. Thi! s is a really exciting opportunity to be a really pivotal role in the business and help drive the agency forward with regards to winning new business.
This job is to take responsibility for the management of proposal responses required as a result of new business activity and existing client management. To bring innovation, quality and consistency in the creation and delivery of all client solutions.
My client are looking for someone who has some strong operational events and communications experience that is looking for a fresh challenge, with this role you will be responsible for coordinating with all the departments of the business in order to get brilliant proposal to the client and increase the amount of proposals that they are winning. This role requires an extremely tenacious candidate with a clear attention to detail and the ability to communicate at board level on a regular basis.
Key Duties include:
To be pivotal point of contact for cr! eating and managing response to briefs and enquiries from new ! clients (including RFP’s)
Support development of responses to existing client enquiries where they require a competitive pitch and/or complex creative treatment, developing of visually creative treatments for clients live events, videos, digital media, printed projects.
Work alongside project or sales owner to develop the response to the point of delivery
Co-ordinate appropriate brainstorming sessions to ensure we capture all best thought before compiling responses
Briefing and managing internal departments and external resources to ensure they deliver their contribution within established timelines
Create a streamlined and consistent way of delivering high quality responses
Remove duplication and inconsistency in responses
Developing of visually creative treatments for clients live events, videos, digital media, printed projects
Responsible for ensuring all proposal work is delivered to the expected standard and deadlines.
Costing and ! budgeting of all proposals
Supporting all group team members in producing proposals and computer presentations adhering to the group brand guide
Create and maintain asset library for proposal responses (e.g. RFP content, standard questions, imagery etc)
Assist maintaining Marketing asset library
Work with the Creative & Sales team to provide the most impactful and effective presentation media for each opportunity
Must contribute to ensuring the company is viewed as a highly creative business designing client focussed solutions
Experience and Skills Required:
Must have at least 5-7 years experience in event and/or communications environment with an awareness of the role of the various disciplines individually and together (event management, technical services, digital media, video, production, print etc)
Understand (or be capable of understanding) the agency proposition and services
Quick to interpret a client brief and what it! needs to achieve
Outstanding attention to detail and strong organi! sational ability
Significant creative acumen in order to be able to create client focused event and communications solutions
Must be able to use a wide range of computer design applications inc Keynote, Powerpoint etc
Strong presentation skills in order to support live pitches as required
