They are looking to recruit Field Support Engineers to deliver high quality on-site support to their SME customer base, travelling throughout the UK as required. However, candidates should be based within a commutable distance of their offices in Stourport-on-Severn as they will be required to go into the office on a daily basis.

Skills and Experience Required:
Ideal candidates will have proven field experience in both hardware and software ! support of Servers, Desktops, workstations, printers and other! peripherals.

Preference will be given to Microsoft Certified Engineers who have knowledge of networking, Microsoft / Linux environments, VPN's, firewalls and connectivity solutions. An understanding of Remote Desktop and Citrix applications would be beneficial.

You will need to provide a range of personal, social, and practical caring tasks as required for the Service Users

To work within the specification of Care Plans drawn up by Care Co-ordinators in consultation with the Service Users so that there is partnership with the assessors and purchases. All staff working for Care Avenues must work proactively for the equality of the serv! ice so that each Service User is respected for their individua! l needs, choices and dignity. To assist the Company in developing it’s culturally sensitive service as an integral part of the provision of Home Care and encourage the service users who wish to remain independent and their chosen life style.

Duties will vary depending on the needs and wishes of each individual client but may include

  • The provision of personal care in a sensitive manner to all Service Users and support carers who may wish to continue their carer’s role. Personal care will include assisting Service Users to prepare for bed, get up, partial or total body washing, toileting and dressing, to administer Medication if required.
  • Carrying out domestic tasks including housework, preparation of meals etc. This may also include assisting the Service Users to carry out these tasks where this supports their wishes and helps the Service User to retain their independence, dignity and status.
  • Shopping for the Service User. Oft! en the client will nominate particular shops which are to be visited and will provide a list of what is required. Receipts should always be kept and the Home Care Assistant is responsible for handling receipts, along with the correct change back to the Service User.
  • From time to time, Social care workers are requested to assist Service Users in their money management and finances. For example, they may be asked to collect pensions or pay bills on behalf of the Service User. This will only occur when this is incorporated in the individual care Plan drawn up by the Care Co-ordinator of Social Services and will require the care worker to issue receipts.
  • Social care workers are not required to and must not carry out nursing tasks and procedures unless they have been agreed in the specification of the contract. The giving of routine medicines will be expected, providing this has medical approval and the Care manager is satisfied that the task can be carried out! safely and sensitively.

In order to meet the individual needs of the service users, work is available 365 days a year. While we try to accommodate each Social care workers availability for work, a certain degree of flexibility is essential. A carer will be expected to work unsocial hours including evening, weekends and Bank Holidays. A higher rate of pay is paid for working Saturdays and Sundays and Bank holidays.

The current National Minimum Wage (NMW) for apprentices from the 1st October 2012 is per hour. Thi! s applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. The new NMW applies to time working plus time spent training as this is also part of the Apprenticeship. Anyone not covered by this age category above will be entitled to the NMW appropriate for their age

Qualifications

Bachelor or Masters degree, or equivalent academic/work experience. Five years experience in a similar position with a track record of success, or equivalent expertise. A broad knowledge of technologies relevant to library markets. Willing and able to travel, both within the UK and to internal meetings in Europe and worldwide as required. Excellent sales and communication skills: sales ability/persuasiveness, formal presentation, negotiation, tenacity, strong partner and customer relationship skills, contributing to team success.

Requirements Experience of working for a senior executive at board level Highly organised and able to work on own initiative Discreet and confidential and able to handle issu! es with great sensitivity Fast typing skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel Strong communication and influencing skills Has a logical, proactive approach, organised and pays attention to detail Excellent team working skills, and able to build relationships at all levels Ability to work well under pressure and to tight timescales Responsibilities Maintain efficient office administration processes to ensure a smooth and efficient service is delivered to executive team members Organise and produce complex (confidential) papers and reports Undertake multi diary management and plan schedules in diaries to optimise the working day of allocated executives Screen incoming mail, telephone calls, emails and messages and manage responses directly on behalf of the management, as necessary Arrange and attend executive meetings/conferences as required, to take minutes, and ensure appropriate facilities are organised Book UK and overseas ! travel and accommodation Prepare and track personal expenses and other ! ancillary expenditure Maintain accurate and secure paper based/electronic filing systems, including archiving Maintain full confidentiality of sensitive and confidential business issues Support the work of other Executive Assistants during periods of absence or unexpected high volumes of work activity Perform ad hoc confidential project work as required The Individual Results Driven: Demonstrates a passion and excitement for his/her work.
