Salary: £14,000 - £16,000 plus sleep ins (£1800 extra per annum)
A c! hildren's home in Kidderminster are urgently requiring a female support worker, due to the requirements within the home, to join their team. It is Essential that you are a driver with your own transport.
You will need to demonstrate a passion for working with young people who have challenging behaviour.
The Role
You will be responsible for;
- The day a to day care and support of the young people living within the home.
- Maintaining accurate records of care
- Taking children/Young people out on Activities and trips
- Taking children/young people to contact visits
- Sleep-ins
- Dealing with challenging behaviour
The Person
It would be advantageous if you have worked! with Children/Young people in a residential setting before
This is not a 9-5 job so you will need to be flexible and passionate about working with children and young people with Challenging Behaviour
Due to the children living within the home it is essential that you are a female, we have no vacancies for male support workers
