The NHS in Worcestershire is looking at ways to provide high quality, safe and affordable hospital services into the future and is currently in the process of a Joint Service Review. The main focus of this review is our acute hospital services, from the Alexandra, Kidderminster and Worcestershire Royal Hospitals, and specific acute services that are provided at some of the community hospitals. We are also looking at the wider health and care system, particularly the links between acute hospitals, community services and GP surgeries.

A vacancy now exists for a motivated senior physiotherapist with an interest in Rheumatology and musculoskeletal conditions.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Rheumatology multidisciplinary team consisting of 4 consultants, specialist nurses, physiotherapists and the specialist OT team.
We provide a trust wide service covering Worcester, Kidderminster and Redditch hospitals.
This post will be based in the MSK outpatient department at Kidderminster Hospital two days each week with a third day in the rheumatology physiotherapy department at Worcester to gain experience in hydrotherapy and work more closely with the multidisciplinary team.
At Kidderminster you will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload and develop the service.
The successful applicant should have experience in MSK assessment and treatment, specific Rheumatology or hydrotherapy experience is desirable but not essential as all training will be ! given.
Staff are supported in their continuing professional development; encouraged to take part in audit and research and to contribute to the training of junior staff, students and assistants.
