£25,000-£27,000 + Bonuses

We are currently looking to recruit a MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (electrical bias preferred) to join a leading Ceramic manufacturing Company. This is an exciting opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer to be an integral part of a growing company. This position will appeal to a strong maintenance engineer, factory engineer or electrician looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company.

Role Description

• PPM of numerous machines such as compaction presses, kilns, centre-less grinders, surface grinders, compressors, ball mills etc.
• Fault finding on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Troubleshooting with control gear and PLC systems
• Working on a call-out rota
• Facilities management, including maintenance of the lighting systems

Skills and Experience

• Strong electrical/mechanical! Maintenance Engineer background
• Apprentice trained
• 17th edition
• Fault finding experience on PLC systems
• Experience in working with injection moulding and extrusions an advantage
