My client, part of a global manufacturing org! anisation, needs a motivated and ambitious graduate to join their team.

You will be a fairly recent graduate, ideally with some work experience, who wants to develop your career in manufacturing or operations.

This is an important role where you will have to think on your feet and learn quickly. However, this will ensure you are best placed to take advantage of opportunities to develop yourself and your career.

In this challenging role you will:

• Be responsible for administering and updating systems and processes for information gathering and analysis.
• Administer, improve and develop other in house systems and processes.
• Support the use of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques.
• Support Training and Development provision.
• Support quality and plant management in a range or organisational and operational tasks and improvement activities.

To apply you should:

• Have a degree in an appropriate subject e.g. manag! ement, maths / stats. IT / systems, engineering, manufacturing, business etc.
• Have a high level of IT literacy and a keen interest in systems and processes.
• Have a desire to work in operations / manufacturing.
• Be self motivated and self reliant, able to educate yourself and get up to speed quickly.
• A confident communicator who can train others older and more experienced than yourself.
• Ideally you will have a basic understanding of lean manufacturing OR continuous improvement processes and systems.

Some work experience would be useful in order to demonstrate your ability and interest but not essential. This is a large organisation who can offer excellent career opportunities to the right people.

A full UK driving license is required for this role.
