Full Time
Location: Sutton Park House SM1 1QU
Salary Range: £20,000 to £25,000 per annum
J! ob Outline: As directed to maintain and repair assets, building fabric, services that are the responsibility of G4S IS Commercial FM, within London Area based out of Sutton Park House.
Key Responsibilities:
To provide assistance in clients office as requested via the Helpdesk
Carry out Minor furniture moves as required
Operate planned maintenance procedures for assets etc., effectively and safely within their range of qualifications, training and experience
Deal effectively and safely with breakdown and damage to assets etc. within their range of qualifications, training and experience as required and by out of hours response where necessary
Safe and proper use of tools and secure use of tools and equipment
Diagnosing faults on all M&E support systems and rectifying where within levels of competence
Following detailed drawings and operational maintenance manuals in order to carry out all planned m! aintenance, routine inspections and repairs.
Maintena! nce inspection and repairs to various assets, building fabric and estate, e.g. furniture, internal and external fixtures and fittings, grounds, access and parking
Assisting in development of maintenance routines and procedures and preparing and maintaining relevant technical records.
Working with other craft qualified, semi-skilled and non-skilled maintenance staff to develop cross-skilling and cover all levels and aspects of maintenance activities on a team work basis.
Participate in on call and emergency call out arrangements in respect of G4SIS maintained sites.
Operate on a fixed site basis for a defined period, to assist in project/development work or to cover for an absent site manager/engineer.
Liaise with facilities helpdesk and client in relation to ongoing porterage jobs as necessary
Weekly collection and delivery of Confidential waste bins to and from loading bay area.
Provide Assistance to Post Room ! Operative in the Delivery and collection of Post to and from Sutton Park House as required.
Undertake Weekly Health & Safety checks of all fire door & escape routes as per PPM Schedule
To monitor all toilets and stock levels during the day.
Liaise with cleaners to insure outstanding tasks are completed.
React to spillages as and when they occur.
Provide assistance with Deliveries to Deli area
Issuing and maintaining appropriate documentation and electronic data records.
Operating appropriate mechanical handling equipment e.g. pallet trucks, sack trucks etc.
Undertaking manual handling tasks as required.
Ensuring operational procedures and customer requirements are met
Housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and tidy workplace.
To undertake any other reasonable tasks as directed by line management
Key Health and Safety accountabilities include:
Working safely! and efficiently and with due regard for their own health and safety an! d the health and safety and the welfare of others including, Company staff, Authority staff, contractors and members of the public etc.
Adhering to safe systems of work procedures and practices and using appropriate safety devices, equipment and clothing provided by G4S
Reporting to the appropriate person all unsafe conditions, damage, near misses - whether or not there are any personal injuries, in order that remedial action can be taken.
Familiarizing themselves with and complying with all site rules, regulations, practices and procedures affecting health and safety.
Attending safety training in accordance with the G4S Company requirements.
