Our client is a leading European Manufacturer and they are looking for a Service Technician to join! their small site based teams and install and service high voltage disconnectors and earth switches.

Job Title: Service Technician
Location: Kidderminster
Salary: £22K-26K + excellent benefits

Working as the Service Technician you will mainly work at height in outdoor substations at all times of year across the UK and Ireland. Duties include;

• Installation, set up and commissioning equipment
• Modify and upgrade equipment
• Fault analysis and rectification
• Complying with stringent health & safety, environment and quality regulations
• Liaising with customers on site

The successful candidate will hold the National Grid NSI Competent Person certification and will have previous high voltage mechanical/electrical fitting experience. You will be self motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small team or independantly when required. ! It is essential that you hold a full UK driving license and yo! u are comfortable working away from home and working at height and in all weather conditions.

It is highly advantageous that you have experience working with CDM regulations/permits and access platforms.

Various additional training & authorisations will be required to work on site; this will be provided by the company.
