Clinical Lead or Home Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support for care staff and act as a champion for residents’ safety and dignity.
- To maintain skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available.
- Ensure the ongoing safety of residents, staff and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes.
- Ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used.
- Act as a role model for good clinical and care govern! ance practice.
- Experience of working with older people
- Knowledge and use of clinical assessment tools e.g. Waterlow,
- Understand care planning processes and have experience of writing care plans
- Experience of working in the care home environment
- Experience of working with individuals with dementia
- Leadership experience
- Degree or post graduate diploma
- NMC Registered Nurse (RMN or RGN)
- Evidence of personal and professional development
Care UK will be opening a new 65 bedded care home in Kidderminster that will provide specialist dementia service; this exciting new care home will be set on the site of two detached houses with gardens backing onto a golf course. The front entrance will be based around a village green with cafes, a restaurant, hairdressing salon and a cinema for resid! ents to relax with family and friends. It will feature creatively landscaped gardens providing safe, stimulating walks with easily accessible paths.
