We have opportunities for Pick Up and Delivery (PUD) Category 1 Driver to join the UK leader in express parcel delivery providing an unparalleled range of guaranteed business-to-business services. Recently listed in the UK’s Top 100 Employers and Investors in People Champion, we offer the successful candidate £324.67 per week and the possibility of forging a career within the Logistics Industry.
As a PUD Driver you will carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections, basic hours will be 39 hours per week . If you are self-motivated and comfortable working on your own then this is the kind of role that will appeal to you.
You'll certainly enjoy being on the road, not to mention the daily contact with a wide range of customers. The start’s! early for what is a long but rewarding day. The mornings are ! mostly spent making time critical deliveries and the afternoons taking collections.
You'll be responsible for ensuring that you comply with all H&S procedures, that the vehicle is in a safe and serviceable condition and that your tachograph is operating correctly and renewed as required to comply with EC Regulation 3821/80 for driver hours.
As a PUD Driver you'll carry out on average 55 deliveries and collections a day and will be supplied with a uniform and footwear that is to be kept clean and neat at all times clearly identifying and promoting the TNT image.
To be a PUD Driver you will need:
- A full clean driving licence with a 7.5 tonne C1 licence entitlement
- A digital tachograph card
- Commitment to customer service
- Good communication skills are vital.
You may be currently working as a Driver, PUD Driver, Pick Up and Delivery Driver, Multi Drop Driver or a Courier looking to move your career forward.
Worcester commutable from Hartlebury, Waresley, Crossway Green, Stourport-on-Severn, Elmley Lovett, Harvington, Shenstone, Kidderminster, Stone, Chaddesley Corbett, Droitwich Spa and Ombersley.
