Male Residential Support Worker Location: Near Kidderminster Salary: 14,000 plus sleep ins (1800 extra per annum) A children's home near Kidderminst! er are urgently requiring a male support worker, due to the requirements within the home, to join their team. IT is Essential that you are a driver with your own transport. You will need to demonstrate a passion for working with young people who have challenging behaviour. The Role You will be responsible for; - The day a to day care and support of the young people living within the home.
- Maintaining accurate records f care - Taking children/Young people out on Activities and trips - Taking children/young people to contact visits - Sleep-ins - Dealing with challenging behaviour You will work full time over a varied shift pattern, but will always have 2 days off together. Every 3 weeks you will have 4 days off. There is a requirement to do sleep-ins which are normally 6/7 per month. The Person IT would be advantageous if you have worked with Children/Young people in a residential setting before You will need to be a Team Player who can get on easily with ot! hers This is not a 9-5 job so you will need to be flexible and! passionate about working with children and young people with Challenging Behaviour Due to the children living within the home IT is essential that you are a male, we have no vacancies for female support workers Interested?
