Project Manager - Engineering Client - Midlands - Perm (Up to £40K)
We are seeking a Project Manager (Permanent) to work with a leading Defence En! gineering company in the Midlands (Kidderminster). The company specialise the design and development of Rocket Motors for use in tactical missiles. The organisation has UK and European sites and over 500+ staff. The Project Manager to delivery on a variety of projects within Rocket Motors space. You will ideally be from a Defence, Engineering or related background and worked on related Defence Projects previously.
We are looking for candidates with exposure to project management responsibilities such as:
- Project margins and project values
- Reporting
- Manage Cross functional teams
- Customer facing, understanding the business requirements for the project, developing relationships
- Gaining approvals
- Assisting with documentation
- Health of Safety within the workplace.
- Engineering background at a degree level.
- A comm! ercial and financial understanding
- Knowledge of tools! such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
- Good customer skills and communication
- Prepared to travel within the UK and Europe.
- Ability to work in/with a multi-disciplined team.
- Knowledge of Defence and Aerospace applications
- Effective risk management
