FIXED TERM CONTRACT TO 31.03.2014
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Assistant Practitioner - OT assistant to join a dynamic project in Wyre Forest. The post holder will be working with the Admission Prevention Team and the Twilight Nursing Service to support patients with long term conditions, and respond to patients to offer support in an acute crisis. You will be responsible for implementing therapeutic care plans written by the therapists within the team, with the emphasis on rehabilitation back to independence.
We require an individual with a variety of highly developed skills, as well as ! excellent communication skills, with the ability to work auton! omously under the direction of a therapist and as a member of a team. You must be able to work under your own initiative, and have the flexibility work a variety of shift patterns.
A full induction programme will be available in order to support the most suitable candidates in gaining the competencies required.
It is essential you can fulfil the travel requirements of the post.
