The NHS in Worcestershire is looking at ways to provide high quality, safe and affordable hospital services into the future and is currently in the process of a Joint Service Review. The main focus of this review is our acute hospital services, from the Alexandra, Kidderminster and Worcestershire Royal Hospitals, and specific acute services that are provided at some of the community hospitals. We are also looking at the wider health and care system, particularly the links between acute hospitals, community services and GP surgeries.

We are seeking to employ a Health Care Support Worker to w! ork within our Surgical Unit. We care for all surgical specialities and are focused on patient safety and enabling patients to return to self-care as soon as possible.

The unit consists of a Daycase Suite and an Inpatient Ward. Staff work in both areas on a rotation basis.

Surgical experience would be an advantage.

As part of the recruitment process, Shortlisted candidates will be expected to attend an Assessment Centre at the Kidderminster Treatment Centre on Wednesday 16th October. At the Assessment Centre you would be required to take several written tests and attend a formal interview.
