A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful and expanding international company based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. The company are a market leading manufacturing business with an outstanding reputation for developing their staff and a fabulous working environment. They are seeking a Junior Application Developer to join their internal IT team and work on the development of business critical systems.
Your core responsibilities will include working on the specification, development and support of a range of applications covering the entire spectrum of the business. As a member of a busy internal IT Department there will also be opportunities to configure and support the systems infrastructure and end user equipment. The role offers a wide variety of duties meaning you will develop a broad range of new skills and never get bored! You may al! so get the opportunity to travel overseas to other sites withi! n the company.
The successful candidate will need to have a relevant IT-based qualification and demonstrate an aptitude for programming, ideally with an understanding of JavaScript, SQL, PHP and/or IBM System-i. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also a must, as well a real commitment to customer service and delivering against targets and deadlines.
