Well respected within the Utilities and Infrastructure Sector, we provide advice to clients on matters relating to water, gas, electricity, fibre optics and oil. We are now looking to recruit a Line Maintenance Technician to support one of our busy pipeline contract teams.
This is an extremely demanding home based role; reporting in to our Ashby de la Zouch Office. The position offers excellent long term career development; assisting with the maintenance and integrity of cross-country pipeline apparatus across the Midlands, Wales and North West regions.
Reporting to two Associate Surveyors and working within a team of experienced Pipeline Maintenance Technicians, you will be required to undertake a wide variety o! f duties including; linewalking, valve inspections and the sup! ervision of third party works to ensure pipeline safety. This role involves a considerable amount of driving, for which transport will be provided, together with ‘hands-on’ practical outdoor activities including; site maintenance, clearance and upkeep, including lone-working.

To be considered for this role you must possess:
First rate ability to communicate with a diverse range of people together with excellent interpersonal skills

• Competent computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Current, full and clean UK Driving Licence
• A good level of general education

A flexible approach and practical common sense are important. Experience in practical outdoor skills would be preferred, however, full training on all aspects of the role will be given to the successful applicant. In return, we are able to offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
