Our client requires a Citrix Support Engineer to act as an escalation point of contact between the customer and our client who is a highly successful! Managed Service Provider.
Responsibilities
Handle 3rd Line level queries and provide proactive management of customer systems.
?Provide remote technical support to the customers user base to achieve contractual Service Level Agreements
? Incident management of major incidents
Provide technical support to Service Desk Analysts and customers
Contribute to delivering defined remote resolution targets
Resolve defined incidents / changes / service requests per day
Incident / change / service requests assignment to the appropriate service department
End to end ownership of all incident / changes / service requests to closure
Build internal / external relationships through effective methods of communication
Identify and work towards service improvements
Contributing to delivering team performance
Perform routine health checks of the Citrix Systems
Knowledge & Experience:
Must hold or be able to attain SC clea! rance.
3+ years experience of working in a 3rd Line Suppor! t role
Experience in administration Citrix systems; XenApp 4.X/5.X/6.X, CAG 4.X/5.X, Netscale 9.X/10.X, Provisioning server 5.X/6.X, Citrix Licensing
Experience in Administration of VMWare for the Citrix Servers 4.X/5.X
Ability to perform Citrix installations and upgrades and optimisations
Experience of Edgesight 5.X
Experience of administration of AD, DNS, DHCP and group policy
Appsense Suite of products 8.X
Solid understanding of Network infrastructure and protocols and latest Microsoft Server Technologies (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, etc?)
? Solid experience of Citrix products (4-5 years)
? Experience supporting at least a 50+ server Xenapp farms
