Our award winning client is seeking a Cisco UCS /NetApp Datacenter Presales Engineer to p rovide pre-sales support to internal s! ales and technical staff, resellers and partners with sizing guidance on NetApp storage and Cisco UCS integrated solutions. You will also liaise with reseller and partners to guide, collect and document detailed End customer solution configuration information.
Responsibilities:
Produce accurate BoM's based on customer requirements
Assist with sizing and design guidance for Storage and server solutions
Provide validated solutions designs
Support partners with relevant product materials and reports for site preparation and competitive information
Work with Local country sales teams to produce quotations
Support the efficient promotion of differentiating value propositions
Work with Solutions Sales desk to support and report on opportunity registration activity.
Establish strong, productive vendor relations
Maintain visibility with vendors and customers to create a competitive distribution advantage for products and services !
Support sales team with product positioning
Point of c! ontact for customer inquiries regarding pricing and solution designs
Answering of telephone queries from the sales help lines
Liaise with and support all other European Sales teams
Skills and Experience:
Proven pre-sales expertise of NetApp FAS and DataONTap Storage product portfolio.
Hold current NASAP, NCDA an advantage.
Knowledge of Cisco UCS or HP and IBM Server products an advantage
Knowledge of competitive storage solutions such and HP & EMC an advantage
Understanding of Server and Desktop virtualization,
Understanding of products from a sales and technical perspective
knowledge of Backup and other data retention technologies
