Description: Coburg Banks Social Care is at present looking to employ Residential Support Worker - Children's Home right now, this position will be presented in England. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below. Location: Kidderminster, Worcestershire
Salary: £14,000 - £16,000 plus sleep ins (£1800 extra per annum! )

A children's home in Kidderminster are urgently requiring a support worker, due to the requirements within the home, to join their team. It is Essential that you are a driver with your own transport.

You will need to demonstrate a passion for working with young people who have challenging behaviour.

The Role

You will be responsible for;

• The day a to day care and support of the young people living within the home.
• Maintaining accurate records of care
• Taking children/Young people out on Activities and trips
• Taking children/young people to contact visits
• Sleep-ins
• Dealing with challenging behaviour

You will work full time over a varied shift pattern, but will always have 2 days off together. Every 3 weeks you will have 4 days off. There is a requirement to do sleep-ins which are normally 6/7 per month.

The Person

It would be advantageous if you have! worked with Children/Young people in a residential setting be! fore
You will need to be a Team Player who can get on easily with others

You will need to be flexible and passionate about working with children and young people with Challenging Behaviour
