Salary: £14,000 - £16,000 plus sleep ins (£1800 extra per annum! )
A children's home in Kidderminster are urgently requiring a support worker, due to the requirements within the home, to join their team. It is Essential that you are a driver with your own transport.
You will need to demonstrate a passion for working with young people who have challenging behaviour.
The Role
You will be responsible for;
- The day a to day care and support of the young people living within the home.
- Maintaining accurate records of care
- Taking children/Young people out on Activities and trips
- Taking children/young people to contact visits
- Sleep-ins
- Dealing with challenging behaviour
The Person
It would be advantageous if you have! worked with Children/Young people in a residential setting be! fore
You will need to be a Team Player who can get on easily with others
You will need to be flexible and passionate about working with children and young people with Challenging Behaviour
