A specialist Worcestershire manufacturer is currently seeking a highly motivated and commercially aware Graduate Engineer to join their business based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. This unique opportunity w! ill allow the successful candidate to work part of the Test and Evaluation team to facilitate the non-destructive testing of motors and their sub-components.. Role: Graduate Engineer Location: Kidderminster, Worcestershire Salary: Competitive Working as the Graduate Engineer you will manage Non-destructive testing (NDT) operations to meet customer requirements, duties also include; ⢠Conduct and assess radiographs and ultrasonic data to the requirements of the component specifications. ⢠Develop radiographic and ultrasonic test parameters, including calibration and operation of ultrasonic test equipment.
- Demonstrate compliance with customer requirements. ⢠Maintain current facilities. ⢠Develop core capabilities. ⢠Prepare and report results of tests, assessments and examinations.
- Conduct safety checks and maintain safety records on the radiographic equipment as used on the companyâs premises. The successful candidate will be educated ! to degree level in a Physics/Mechanical or Electrical Engineer! ing discipline and will ideally have previous experience working in a similar environment. You will have a keen interest in NDT with the desire to complete at least Level II training. You will be an excellent communicator and you will have the ability to work effectively with other technical specialists and to customer requirements and timescales.
