The NHS in Worcestershire is looking at ways to provide high quality, safe and affordable hospital services into the future and is currently in the process of a Joint Service Review. The main focus of this review is our acute hospital services, from the Alexandra, Kidderminster and Worcestershire Royal Hospitals, and specific acute services that are provided at some of the community hospitals. We are also looking at the wider health and care system, particularly the links between acute hospitals, community services and GP surgeries.

An opportunity has arisen for bank MRI radiographers to part! icipate in the rotation between Kidderminster treatment centre and Worcestershire Royal Hospital, to cover some weekend duties and A/L as required on an adhoc basis. The Kidderminster Treatment Centre has a Siemens 3T Skyra machine and Worcestershire Royal Hospital has a 1.5T Siemens Avanto.
You will be qualified to Diploma of the College of Radiographers/BSc Radiography level with proven post graduate experience in MRI. Candidates should be HPC registered.
The position would suit an experienced MR Radiographer who demonstrates the ability to participate in the delivery of a high quality MRI service to users. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills together with a caring and professional attitude. Candidates are expected to have sound Knowledge of MRI Physics and Safety.
