Post Title: Water Management Officer (temp)
22.2 hours per week i.e. 3 days but flexible, ideally Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays
£19,817 - £21,734 per annum Band F
About The Role
The post holder will work within a team that deals with land drainage, watercourse and flood related issues. Work aimed at reducing flood risk includes enforcement, advice, site surveying, environmental protection and enhancements. The role will be working across North Worcestershire authorities as part of the shared North Worcestershire Water Management Service being hosted by Wyre Forest District Council. The team also undertake work on behalf of Worcestershire County Council, to meet responsibilities within the Flood and Water Management Act 2010. The role is varied with the! opportunity to support and undertake project work. Relevant t! raining and previous work experience in a drainage/watercourse or related environment is essential.
