Temporary contract until 2015, Full time - 37 hours per week
Our client is currently l! ooking for an exceptional individual to join them as a Trainee Development Manager working on new housing schemes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking for a change in direction or hoping to take the next step in their career.
In this role, you'll enjoy responsibility for a variety of tasks associated with developing new housing, including planning new schemes, assessing their financial viability and preparing grant claims. Through coaching and mentoring, you'll be given the skills and experience to become a competent Development Manager in the future, able to procure schemes from inception to completion. You'll be supported by a learning and development package which will provide you with both 'on the job' training and a complementary formal training package.
Highly motivated, you'll preferably have previous experience in affordable housing or a related sector, together with excellent IT skills. They're looking for candidate! s with a good level of education (A' level or equivalent), a c! ommitment to learning new skills and the desire to integrate into a team, which works in a dynamic environment.
