We are urgently looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to work for a leading supplier of high and ultra high pressure pumps supplying a wide range of industries from Automotive (BMW, Honda, Toyota, & Land Rover) to Offshore Oil & Gas (BP, Total, Shell & Talisman).
The Project Manager will report to the Engineering Director, taking total project responsibility for managing the design, technical specification, liaison with the client, documentation, overseeing the build, FAT and organising installation and commissioning.
Experience of certification and association documentation would be useful, but not essential. You must have a sound working knowledge of 3D CAD (Solid Edge or Solid Works) and experience of process industry and hazardous area working.
You will need ! to have experience of diesel engines and/or electric motor dri! ven equipment in power ranges from 30kW to 2000 kW and a good knowledge of hydraulics & electro mechanical control systems. Previous experience in the European Oil & Gas industry would be an asset.
The role will involve
- generating project plans
- Ensuring compliance
- Planning and monitoring resources
Experience of process industry and hazardous area working is essential as is, project engineering responsibility for projects valued between £30,000 and £5m
The salary is £40,000 - £50K dependant on experience and qualifications which must be supported by recognised academic qualifications. Benefits include pension scheme & life insurance
